Unfortunately this one was probably my least favorite of the final three. I mean, the entire book was The Last Battle, which was intense and tiresome on every front. I think Sanderson did a good job with what he had left from Jordan, but it was still kind of a drag to get through sometimes (and I was listening on audio!). I did appreciate the way some plot threads were wrapped up, and as usual the Mat parts were some of my favorites. So many deaths happened that I was really sad about, and I still feel a little bitter about one in particular. I also thought the epilogue was pretty interesting, but also a bit… unsettling? I don’t know. I have mixed feelings about this ending, but I still enjoyed the book.
